Highlights
In 2007, several Bills were ran which supported the goals of UFIRE. Among these was HB224 which sought to repeal the in-state tuition benefit to illegal aliens.
Ufire arranged for a respected law professor, Kris Kobach to testify before the
House Education committee on this issue. The will passed out favorably by the comittee, but failed to pass the House by
one vote after several groups rallied against it. The Comittee votes are listed below
